CUSTOM SCHOOL TRIPS - FAQS

Is it safe? What happens if one of the kids gets sick or has an accident?
Absolutely. We require all students to travel with medical international insurance, and our team is trained in first aid and emergency protocols. If a student needs medical attention, we coordinate transportation, call for an ambulance, and accompany them to the nearest hospital. A supervisor stays with the student at all times while keeping parents and teachers fully informed and involved in every decision. Your child's well-being is our top priority, always.
How do you ensure the safety of students during activities?
We prioritize student safety in all our activities by implementing comprehensive safety measures. Our staff is trained in first aid and emergency response protocols, and all excursions are led by experienced local guides who are knowledgeable about the terrain and cultural context. Before each activity, we conduct safety briefings to prepare students and ensure they understand guidelines and procedures.

Additionally, we use high-quality equipment and conduct regular safety checks to maintain everything in optimal condition. Our supervision ratio of one adult for every eight students ensures personalized attention, allowing staff to monitor participant safety closely. Emergency response plans are in place, and students are briefed on what to do in case of an emergency. Overall, we strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment where students can explore and learn with confidence.
Who will be there with them? What is supervision like?
Your own teachers and group leaders will travel with the group, along with a designated Trip Coordinator. Depending on the excursion, our local adventure guides, a dedicated driver, and additional staff will also be present. We maintain a supervision ratio of one adult for every eight students, ensuring personalized attention and support. Additionally, there will be private transport available to the group at all times.
Do boys and girls sleep in separated rooms?
Yes. We use shared dorm-style rooms, separated by gender for privacy and comfort.
What type of food and water will be provided?
Students will enjoy a range of Peruvian and kid-friendly meals. Breakfast typically consists of light options such as eggs, bread, fruit, and beverages like tea or coffee. Lunch usually features soup and a main dish, while dinner focuses on a hearty main course. Peruvian dishes often include ingredients like potatoes, quinoa, chicken, vegetables, and fresh juices. Be prepared to try new flavors, alongside plenty of juice and tea.

Dietary Restrictions / Food Allergies: We can accommodate various dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Vegans should bring their own snacks, as choices may be limited, and we appreciate your understanding, as veganism is not widely recognized in Peru. Most allergies can be managed with prior notice, so please indicate any allergies or food restrictions on the medical forms, allowing our team to arrange suitable alternatives if needed.

Water: We provide bottled or purified water for drinking. Tap water is safe for showering and brushing your teeth. Remember to bring a reusable water bottle to help minimize plastic waste.
